We first met each other way back in 2008, when we both enrolled in the Faculty of Computer and Information Science in Ljubljana. We were part of the same group of friends and for 4 years we attended the same subjects, went to lunch together and helped each other study. After the third year, we traveled with a few friends to Japan, where we deepened our friendship.
More than a year after the last lecture, we felt a spark between us, which propelled our friendship into love. The first test was a year later, when we moved in for the first time - at first only for two months on an exchange program in New York. That we overcame the difficult living conditions there was already a good sign.
After the exchange, we didn't want to wait any longer, so we rented a place in Ljubljana's center, where we spent 2 years together. During this time, we changed a few jobs, graduated and made a big decision to step further out into the world. So we moved to the lively Berlin, which made us face many challenges, which we are overcoming together and made us grow even closer together.
And after all our shared experiences we got engaged in the summer of 2018. ♥
